Dear God,
Who can deny your existence, your living presence? When I look around me, I see evidence of a sacred order, a life of spiritual adventures, and a journey into the unknown. I see a loving power that offers grace in the midst of error and deceit. I see a challenge to partner to make the world a community of loved people.
In the midst of my daily findings, I breathe in an air of hope. My faith grows. My love for you and my neighbor, the one nearby and the other far away continues to increase because I know we both breathe the same air of eternity. In that respect we are no different from one another regardless of our station, condition, or life. We are your children.
As I get up in the morning, I am aware of the joy of knowing you or better yet, being known by you. I sense an eternal connection, one that I do not fully understand, yet, one that brings great joy to me, more than any other relationship I share. I know I am blessed even when I know I am not a blessing at a times.
And so, on this morning I give thanks.
Blessed are you,
God Most High.
Thank you
for thinking
of me
and thank you
for giving me
a spirit
that thinks
of you.
Love always, Andrea
