Dear God,

How can I pray for my own family and forget the world family to which we belong?  How can I pray for healing for my child and fail to pray for all children who are broken, wounded, and starving?  How can I celebrate my blessings and neglect to be part of the blessing of others?

Teach us
to pray
for the
whole world family,
O Lord.
Remind us
we are
part and parcel
of each other.
Show us
the way
to bless
each other,
I pray.
