Dear God,

Angels are all around us, sharing their light, providing hope for the world.  An Australian couple invited us to sit with them around table on the ferry from Holyhead, Wales to Dublin, Ireland.  During the two hour ride we listened to the many wonderful charities they have formed.  From providing food to the hungry to school and sports scholarships for children, and raising funds for the arts, they walk as angels unaware blessing many around them.  The shine in their eyes, the love in their hearts, and the joy in their spirits revealed yet another handprint of the divine.

Just because someone does not have wings does not mean there are no angels among us.  In fact such people cause us to pause and reflect upon what and who we are seeing.  With faith we are enabled to  see from a divine view where your spirit is working in the world.  Their joy becomes our own as we celebrate together the wondrous and amazing way you are blessing people.  In their light you call us to do the same.

Blessed God,
your angels
are everywhere.
We do
not have
to look far.
When our eyes
are open
to the wonders
of faith,
we see
so much more.
Thank you
for angels
who touch us
reminding us
to do
our own
angel work.
