Dear God,

Every day you invite us to count our blessings.  You direct our eyes to gifts all around us.  When we pause and reflect, we can spend our day giving thanks.  Before we know it the day is filled with gratitude and when the next day unfolds, we realize there are many more to observe, receive, and store away for a hard day.

If we live our life counting our blessings and giving thanks, then we have opportunity to bless others around us.  You give us an infinite number of ways we can share our blessings with strangers, people in trouble, loved ones, neighbors, and friends.  And when we celebrate the blessings we have offered others, a funny thing happens when we discover you blessed us more as we blessed others.

All day long
you touch
and inspire us.
You lay
your hand
on us
and give us
your tender care.
