Dear God,

You lead us down the road to truth.  You know falsity will take us only to dead ends, cliffs, or never-ending circles.  You guide us through narrow pathways and wide open spaces to discover the mysteries of life where truth is revealed.

You once said, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free."  There are times when we do not want to know the truth because we fear where the truth will take us.  Yet, in those moments where we travel the road, we find truth to bring us insight, direction, and freedom.  Life begins anew and refreshes us with a clear outlook on life.

Your gifts
are many,
O Lord.
You set truth
before us
because you know
truth is
always better
than a lie.
Thank you
for leading us
to the truth
that indeed
sets us free.
