Dear God,

"Nothing can separate us from the love of God...," these words written to the Romans by St. Paul never fail to lift us up, to give hope, and to seal us in love with our creator.  When we feel alone, lost, and lonely we only ever need to grab our bible, turn to Romans 8, and read the promising words.  How many times have my own fingers softly touched the words as I searched for love to hold me?

We all have times when we feel far away, when we just can't seem to connect to that which gives life meaning.  Yet, these words written in a bible can be permanently written on our hearts so that no matter where we are we can feel the promise burning in our hearts, minds, and souls.  We only need to remember them, say them, and claim them for ourselves and those broken, hurting people around us near and far.  While God is loving me, we offer to others, God is loving you.

Blessed Lord,
thank you
for your word
that gives life.
Thank you
for promises
that are eternal.
Thank you
for restoring us
to your side.
