Dearest God,
Yesterday I saw the seed crack and begin to open up. Today I heard and saw it start to grow. By day's end, the stem and blossom reached up beyond the grave and she began to sing, strong and joyous.
My sister lost her beloved son, killed by his troubled adopted son. She went into the deep darkness and there she lived for six months. Despair was her name. Hopelessness was the air she breathed. But today that all changed.
How could a simple four-day vacation away from the terrible tragedy transform Debi? It was because you wanted that for her. You wanted to save her. You wanted to return life to her lifeless body. You wanted to bless her. You wanted to turn her night into day. And you did. Oh yes, you did!
Bless you,
O God,
for transformation.
Thank you
for faith.
Thank you
for giving hope
to my pal.
Love, Andy
