Dear God,

I feel the shift taking place in my bones.  Summer is almost over and Autumn is coming.  This change of seasons is always an invitation to change, transformation in our own souls.  That which was is being invited to become something more.

Surrender is always the call for me.  And you know how much I have to surrender, so very much.  Surrender means trusting more, letting go of what has my attention for the moment.  Surrender is all about detachment, freeing myself to ride the wave, fly upon the gusty spirit wind.  When true surrender comes, joy can bubble up, peace can come and hope can replace all that drags me down.

and to release
leaving space
to breathe deeper.
You are God;
there is none
like you.
