Dear God,

How can we dispel hatred?  How can we destroy what seeks to destroy us?  How can we rise from death to new life?

Of course, I know the answer is love but how can we go from hatred to love in one huge leap? 

Teach us
once again
of love,
Great Lover of the Soul.
Show us
the way
to love.
Rid us
of every evil,
I pray.
