Dear God,

Why do we sow seeds of hatred?  Why do we pick out categories of people and go after them, sometimes to their death?  Why do we want to hurt so many people?

Teach us
how to love,
not hate.
Show us
the way
to peace
instead of chaos.
Please cause us
to reach out
to one another
with arms
for embracing,
not hurting.
Bless those
who really suffer today.
