Dear God,

Her face looked familiar but I couldn't identify her when she came up to me at church.  With tears in her eyes, she told me about the time probably 20 years earlier when I had done a healing service at a former church.  "You put your arms on my shoulders and I felt this feeling, a real power and I have never forgotten it.  I wanted to tell you thank you.  It changed my life." She told me.

As I listened to Lisa share her story, I thanked her but explained that I am only capable of creating a setting where you do the miracle work.  I only present the door and those who are interested can open it a crack or wide open.  I don't know what Lisa's wound was but somehow, O God, you stepped inside and healed her.  I just want to thank you.

Holy God,
you alone heal.
You alone
reconcile and
restore us.
You alone
make us new.
