Dear God,

When we move our attention from our own self to you, we shift our loyalty, love and hope.  At those sacred moments we are as united with you as we possibly can be.  Why don't we do it more often?

At any given hour we know you are the powerful source of all creation.  It is your air we breathe, your water we drink and your food we eat.  Without you there would be void.

Why do we let one hour, one minute go by without our attention on you in our relationships, work, service, love and purpose?  Without you, nothing is possible.  With you, all things are possible.

Teach us

your ways,

O God.

Turn our eyes

and ears

toward you.

Most of all

turn our hearts

to you.
