Dear God,

Some people just seem to carry your light with them everywhere they go.  They shine when the sun shines and when the rain falls.  Their smile, loving gestures and kind ways bless, heal and inspire.

When I walk in the early morning hours, I watch the few people I see.  When they offer a simple "Good morning," I feel I am in your presence.  Their friendly compassion spreads love all around them.  I don't know if that love hangs in the air for the rest of the day or not, I just know it makes a difference to all those they touch.

Loving God,

thank you

for all

light bearers.

Thank you

for their gifts

to those

around them.

When we

experience them,

make us

not only

gracious receivers

but also

loving givers.
