Dear God,
The sacred dance of nature continued as I drove from Maine to Pennsylvania. The colors, textures and shapes had changed from springtime when I had driven from Indiana to Maine. But I felt excitement and thrill in my soul as I acknowledged once again your holy work.
I have never understood the question of the existence of God. For I see your holy hand at work in every day living. I see it in nature, in people and in situations near and far. I see it in music and all the arts. I witness it in the change that comes when faith is lived out.
And I couldn't help but whisper my prayers of thanksgiving as I drove along the countryside.
Loving God,
thank you
for all
your gifts.
Thank you
for Autumn
and all
her unfolding treasures.
Thank you
for my drive
and every encounter
with you.
Love, Andrea
