Dear God,

Thank you for moments of awakening, those times when you wake us from our sleep, from darkness to light, from blindness to seeing and from death to life.   Such holy moments cause us to acknowledge your power and love.

When our vision is cloudy and we can't seem to find our way, you come to us taking the scales from our eyes.  What we initially thought was impossible becomes possible.  When we blink our eyes again and again, we can hardly believe what we are seeing.  But that is your way, O God, you want to help us, surprise us, bless and inspire us and above all to challenge us from disbelief to belief.

May your way

be our way,

O Lord.

May your will

be our will.

May your love

be our love.
