Dear God,

In a few hours I will have surgery.  While I believe I am in good hands, I still feel some anxiety.  But such times call for greater trust and deeper faith.

Thank you,

dear Father,

for your 

loving kindness 

and your promise

to be present

with us

in every situation.

Today I

give you myself

once again.

I want 

to surrender

into your hands.

I am yours.
