Dear God,

How and when will our pain ever go away?  The Parkland School shooter just received 17 life without parole sentences in the murders of 17 students.  I watched the pain expressed by parents whose loss is inconceivable.  So much so, I wept with them. 

How do we help people who have suffered great loss?  How do we bring them peace and hope?  How do we eradicate those deep places where great suffering exists?  How, O Lord, how?

Bring peace

to your

weeping ones,

O God.

Lift their sorrow.

Release their pain.

Fill them

with comfort

and love,

I pray.
