Dear God,
When we decide to trust you, we enter into your sacred dwelling place, the holy space where hope resides. As we place our whole trust in you, we discover peace and guidance. We feel your calming tranquility. Hope has a chance with us and as we breathe in your loving help, we can face our difficulties
with confidence and assurance. We may not receive exactly what we hope for; however, you know better than we what we need.
What blessing and joy there is in knowing we are welcome in your holy dwelling place. We do not need to be perfect, sinless or transformed in order to join you there. We are welcome simply because we are your children.
As I think of dwelling places, I remember the psalmist writing about the river of joy in the city of God from Psalm 46 and I am inspired and feel exceedingly loved. Who would not want to dwell with you?
Dearest God,
thank you
for your
constant invitation
to dwell
with you.
Thank you
for welcoming us.
Thank you
for reminding us today.
Love, Andrea
