Dear God,

What joy filled my heart in worship this morning!  To watch you work, to sense your gracious, loving spirit, and to observe your kindness to hurting children was an act of grace.

Two musicians and I spoke before the service, all of us feeling a true lack of confidence for what we were about to offer you and your people.  We shared our vulnerability and promised to pray for one another.  At the service end, we knew we had seen the hand of God.

Although I know you are the power that transforms, I still experience a wow factor when I watch and feel it happen.  At the very moment of transformation I sense a Holy Spirit wash come over me like a gentle mist.  I am so filled with gratitude that I can hardly contain myself.  My joy is full to overflowing.

and the music
you gave
my friends.
You are God;
there is none
like you.
