Dearest God,
Ebola is killing thousands but you are with us.
Human trafficking is destroying thousands but you are with us.
Children are starving but you are with us.
Families are coming apart at the seams but you are with us.
Injustice and oppression are damaging countless many but you are with us.
Politicians have forgotten what they originally set out to do, serve the people, but you are with us.
Millions have been displaced by war but you are with us.
Life is hard but you are with us.
You call each of us to do our part to eradicate human suffering. You remind us to care for one another. No child is more cherished than another; all are your children. In the midst of suffering you are with us; we are never alone.
Thank you,
Heavenly Father,
for making
each of us
your children.
Help us remember
we are
one family.
Strengthen us
to function daily
in the knowledge
of your
constant presence.
Thank you.
Love, Andrea
