Dear God,
As the snow fell from the heavy skies, I smiled. I reveled in the wintry white landscape. I'd waited all winter for just such a scene.
Winter gives us a rare beauty. The loss of colorful blooms does not in any way take away the beauty of the season. In fact the colorless picture brings out the exquisite nature of every tiny snowflake. When each one collects and piles up hanging heavy upon the evergreens, trees, and bushes, it directs us to you as creator of the cosmos. The view reminds us to take in the beauty, savor the moment, and give thanks.
Generous God,
thank you
for scene
after scene
of magnificent beauty.
Thank you
for winter,
spring, summer,
and fall.
Each season
points us
to you.
Thank you.
Love, Andrea
