Dear God,

In the nighttime I listened as the rain poured down.  I listened as the grass, trees, and flowers soaked up the life-giving drink.  I listened as you sent down love in every drop.

You made a world where you attend to the needs of the cosmos.  You sent down water to the thirsty plants so they would provide for your children.  You touched the earth with your kiss.

There are so many ways you have provided for us.  Often we forgot your many gifts.  We failed to acknowledge your blessings; yet, you did not stop giving them to us.

As the rain fell and the plants perked up, you enabled us to see the wonders of your creation.

Loving God,
thank you
for gentle reminders
of your
merciful love.
Thank you
for teaching us
to remember
how faith
touches us daily.
Thank you
for handsomely
blessing us.

Love, Andrea
