Dear God,

Oh, to be like a glorious spring flower.  To rise up in full color, to stretch out and to display exquisite beauty is a call for all your children to bud, flower and glow. 

What do we have to show for all the gifts of your spirit?  Do we radiate an inner and outer beauty?  Do we stretch and grow in full color?  Do we offer the sweet scent of heaven? 

We can be like delicate spring flowers.  We can show your love and kindness.  We can dance in the breeze of your spirit.  We can bring joy, hope and peace to others.  We can be beautiful for you.

O God,
you are
the hope
of the world.
You bring us
exquisite gifts.
You call us
to become
those gifts
that others
may see
your spirit aglow.
Make us
like beautiful
spring flowers,
I pray.
