Dear God,

Do you create some people with extraordinary courage and faith or do you create all people with the possibility of courage and faith depending on how we use it?  How does it work, Merciful God?

I sat in the movie theatre and found myself praying as I watched the movie Harriet.  I could hardly believe someone could exhibit that much courage, strength and faith.  As I listened to the story of Harriet Tubman, I wondered if I could ever possibly display that much courage, faith and strength.

All across history people have been born with extraordinary gifts to do seemingly impossible things.  As we encounter their lives, we are inspired, challenged and moved to become something more.  Something more.
