Dear God,
This morning as my friend and I worked together on the spiritual path, I asked her if she would like to create our own worship this morning. We stopped our work, sat on the little porch of the hermitage and there we prayed, spoke the psalms, sang, offered a call to worship and shared the miracle of hope in the midst of darkness in our world today. How wonderful it was to listen to the birds sing their own songs of praise and to watch as the tree branches danced with the wind of your spirit. Clearly, you were with us in our worship.
You whisper invitations for us to draw close to you. You invite us to worship, to sing, pray and praise, to lift up our prayers of thanksgiving and offerings of love and grace. You bless us beyond what we think is possible and bring smiles and greater gratitude to our hearts and minds. We will always be grateful for your living presence.
Loving God,
thank you
for worship
this morning.
Thank you
for speaking
to us,
for inviting us in
and for
allowing us
to enjoy
and bless
your creation.
Every gift
is yours
and always divine.
Thank you.
Love, Andrea
