Dear God,

How does trust become a seed and then grow into a living flower?  What causes it to grow?  What maintains it?

Trust does not come easy, Lord.  How many times is trust broken?  How can it ever be revived?  Yet, you in your grace nourish trust to become so much more.  Although invisible we can taste it, know its power and gentle spirit and believe in it to help, heal and hold us.

Our covenant group has been together 31 years.  Every Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. we gather by conference call.  There we listen to your word, enter into silence to contemplate and pray.  Then we share from our lives while the other three of us listen with spirit hearts.  We affirm, challenge and bless one another.  How?  Because you sowed a seed in us in 1989 and you nourished that seed, watered it and pulled weeds around it.  Then you inspired it to grow and flower.  You pruned it, gave it your son's light and rained down upon it.  It is now in full bloom and continues to grow.

You are
an awesome God.
You create designs
so exquisite
that it
would be impossible
for us
to recreate it.
You give us gifts,
gifts of
great worth.
You bless us
beyond comprehension.
You give us
your love,
the greatest gift
of all.
Thank you,
Blessed One,
thank you.

Love, Andrea
