Dear God,
Moments ago when I prayed about trust, I felt angry, sad and worried. I hadn't let the power of trust have a chance. But then...I watched a sequel of "You've Got Talent" and I cried.
An extremely shy singer sang an amazing song and the crowd went wild along with the judges. This young woman was trying to trust and taking crazy-wild steps toward that end. She trusted, oh so deeply, in herself. Watching her demeanor change the moment she began to sing was an answer to my prayer. It is in the deep things of life when the outcome is not predictable that trust has an opportunity to grow deep and wide. It is the place where you dwell most holy, most loving and most powerful.
When we trust in you who is most trustworthy among all, we find greater courage, strength and even hope.
Thank you,
Loving God.
You answered
my prayer
just moments
after I prayed.
You do
so much
for us,
Holy God.
Thank you
for the blessing
of trust
but even more
than that,
thank you
for the challenge
to do more
than we think
we can do.
I love you,
I love you,
I love you.
Yours, Andrea
