Dear God,

We need opportunities to release, to let go, to surrender parts of our life in order to take hold of what is better before us.  Leaving behind the anxiety of harm done in 2020 has given us the ability to breathe, to draw in rich resources of hope, peace and love.  Our president and his penchant toward division and chaos has hurt, damaged and destroyed so many.  It is so hard to even wrap our heads around all the pain and suffering he has wrought.  So many, many families are anguished right now.

You, O God, call us to the season of new life, a resurrection of sorts that inspires us to lift our hearts and heads to heaven.  There you want to whisper hope, insight, wisdom, courage and peace to us.  You want us to trust you more for each day, each hour and each minute.  Only then can we walk in these gifts that enable us to rise to higher levels of faith, resolve and strength.

more deeply

in your care.

to take steps
