Dear God,

Recently I watched a children's movie entitled, "Frozen II.  I figured several of my grandchildren had seen it and they would think something was wrong with me if I hadn't seen it so I watched it on one cold, rainy day.

What struck me about the movie was one simple line, "Do the next right thing."  Do the next right thing, what a great philosophy of life.  Doing the right thing, the next right thing.  Doing the right thing could be a revolutionary new mantra for our U S Congress.  When so many veer away from doing the right thing, this could be a game changer. 

Perhaps doing the next right thing is what faith is all about.

Guide us

to do

the next

right thing,

O God.

We need

to listen,

to follow

and to

do good things

not just

for ourselves

but also

for others.

Lead us

to this

life lesson, 

I pray.
