Dear God,

The birds flock to eat before the snow comes when they rush to seek refuge. The natural rhythm of nature is one of tremendous wonder.  The birds know what to do by instinct.

Sometimes they are smarter than we are.  We often wait until the problem is right before us rather than prepare for upcoming difficulty.  Then we panic.  You have given us all we need inside to prepare and deal with harsh problems before they come.  As we draw close to you each day asking for provision, body, mind and spirit, we grow our ability to trust you and ourselves, courage in the face of fear and strength to

face whatever befalls us.  We have everything the birds have and more.

Holy God,

thank you

for our

daily blessings.

for gentle reminders

that we

have everything

we need.

Bless the birds

for their message

to us.
