My dearest God,

Cleaning, ironing, sewing, gardening, sweeping, running errands and packing have filled my days as we prepared to leave for Maine. My body ached from head to toe; yet, I realized that I have had more energy to work than I have had in three years. Why the difference?

A doctor's visit confirmed that I am doing pretty well right now. I am genuinely thrilled to have life energy to do everything I want to do. It has taken so long to get better. I do know that my threatening time is coming with heat but I am grateful to be where I am today.

What I know for sure is that I must have a complete trust in you every day. My first words in the early morning hours need to be words of gratitude and thanksgiving. My second act needs to be showing my devotion, living out my gratefulness. And finally at the end of the day I need to say thanks again.

You are
the living force
inside me.
You are
the energy
with which
I am able
to think
and breathe
and act.
I am filled
with joy
and happiness.
You have built
my faith
while building
my body.
I love you,
my dearest God;
I love you
so much.

Always yours, Andrea
