Dear God,

How do we truly fulfill our destiny here on earth? How can we be sure we are doing what we were designed to do, to be who we were created to be?

I look back and wonder. What did I do that was perfectly in your will? What did I fail to do? How could I have lived differently, trusting more, confident that you had a plan for my life?

I want to give my grandchildren a spiritual advantage. I want them to know you are God and that you have an action plan for their lives, not a robotic life with one main button, but rather a life filled with love, grace, mercy and promise. A life that contributes to the betterment of the world around us. A life that honors and reveres you because you love us. A life that points to the other while pointing to self. A life that leads the way to you using all the gifts and graces you have given us.

At 64 I reflect and think, imagining the future. I want to fully become the transformed person you are calling me to be to live out the rest of my days to your delight. I want to be so in line with you in faith that I ask first what you want, then consider my own wants and the wants of others. How do I do it, Lord, how do I effectively live for you?

Lead the way,
dear God,
and teach me
to always follow.
Open my
eyes wide
that I
may see
my chosen path.
Guide me
in the way
of love
and determined faith,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
