Dearest God,

From a tiny seed to a preserved jar of fiesta salsa. I still can hardly believe the whole process!

I can't help but admire the myriad of peppers in my garden: bell peppers, habernos, banana peppers, jalapenos, chili peppers, sweet peppers, and some I don't even know the names. They are beautiful, colorful, spicy, and so, so, so good in my homemade salsa.

As my neighbor and I worked together chopping, slicing, measuring, stirring, and canning, I realized that every ingredient has your fingerprint...tomatoes, peppers, onion, cilantro, marjoram, salt, cucumbers, garlic, vinegar, and sugar. Not one item grew on its own. Without your hand upon each one, they would not take root and grow.

Your kindly care makes all things grow, not only in a garden. An infant matures to become an adult. The weak become strong. The blind see. The lame walk. All things, all people who trust in you grow and change and transform. As I imagine my garden vegetables carrying your print, I cannot conceive how great your print is upon all of us.

Thank you,
Gracious God,
for your gifts,
your many,
many gifts.
May I
always remember
your generosity
and love.

Always, Andrea
