Dear God,

I realize more and more how much I need the leading of your Holy Spirit.  How effective can I be in ministry if I do not do the best I can do and do not rely on your Spirit?

As I prepare to lead the retreat this weekend, I do what I do trusting in your divine providence.  I know I have gifts and talents; however, I know that any greatness that comes does so because of your miracle work.

Guide me,
Almighty God,
to do
your will.
Prepare my heart,
my mind,
and my soul
for your work,
I pray.
