Dearest God,

How do you do it?  How do you place inspiration in the hearts of your people?

Several weeks ago I was asked to choreograph and direct a very short video on the life of Jesus.  This morning as I met with the photographer, the characters, the pastor, and the assistant, you were there.  While I positioned the characters in place, I told them the significance of their life in relation to Jesus.  To the character playing Jesus, I talked with him about his own daughters and how he would want Jesus to care for one if she lay dying.  Suddenly I saw you enter him; he knelt down, his face lit up, his hands stretched out, he cupped the face of the little girl lying on the pallet, and he imparted your loving grace to the child. Throughout the morning again and again I saw faith come to life.

I realized once again how your purpose is fulfilled when we follow your lead.  When we listen and give way to those spirit-inspired urges within us, you become ever so present.  You speak, you touch, you inspire and joy comes, yet another reason for praise!

Master of the Cosmos,
thank you
for the work
of your spirit.
Thank you
for transforming
our lives,
for filling us
with you.
May we
bless you
every time!
