Dear God,

You came, O Lord; you came to me as I sat down for worship.  Our eyes linked when the morning liturgist winked and smiled.  My heart was warmed and my spirit lifted as I sensed your wonderful presence.

A sensitivity to your spirit and a desire to be close opens doors to a deep relationship with you.  You reveal yourself again and again.  You flood us with memories of spirit blessing.  You remind us we walk together; we are not alone.  You speak and we hear you as we accept your challenge, your mercy, or your wisdom. We acknowledge your company because faith teaches us to trust, to anticipate, and to follow.  We confess our need for you and you hold us near as we breathe in the air of your hope.  So much happens as we awaken to your living spirit, Gracious God, and I am deeply grateful.

tender care.

for your love
that knows
no bounds.
