Dear God,

Your ways are always better than our own.  As we listen and follow, we discover life is the way it should be.  Faith is fresh, courage is up, peace is possible, and joy can overflow even in the midst of difficult situations.  When I open my eyes to faith, when I breathe in the air of your living presence, and when I trust you whole-heartedly, I am enabled to experience life at its fullest. 

Today as we drove to Vermont, I gazed upon your beautiful creation.  I watched closely for fall colors and every time I discovered a tree changing its colors, I marveled because it pointed me to you.  I realized just how much love you put into your world and I was glad.

For the
exquisite beauty
of your world,
I give thanks,
Ever-Creating God.
Thank you
for opening me
to the wonders
of faith
that open doors
to deeper mysteries.
