Dear God,

Thank you for the deep roots of faith, for the amazing way you call us to attention by faith, and for speaking to us through faith when life shake ups come our way.  We learn very quickly just how deep or shallow our roots really are.

I was caught by surprise today.  I had to take stock in faith to help me balance myself.  As I leaned in to you, I heard your voice speak once again and I found peace in your words.

for quiet moments
of faith.
Thank you
for roots
and for
all those
who helped
shape faith.
Thank you
for your compassion
that is eternal.
