Dear God,

You have made us to be one family.  You give us to one another, each with a gift to share.  You give us one song to sing, the song of love, mercy, and peace.

At choir rehearsal we practiced a half dozen songs.  We sopranos sang alone learning our part, then the altos, tenors, and basses.  Each melodic line was beautiful in its own right.  However, what I discovered once again was the beauty of one voice, many voices singing their parts, making one voice, singing one song, the song of faith.

for all
family members
who have something
to share.
Thank you
for the beauty
that comes
when we
share them together
at one time.
