Dear God,

All along the way the spiritual path has revealed the direction it wanted to take.  The only thing I have had to do is follow it.

I have worked on the woodland spiritual path now for nearly 10 years.  It has led me to an altar, a table, a community setting, a secret garden, and now a meandering stream.  Each part has its own spiritual meaning, all intended to lead those who will come to a closer walk with you.

Wherever I am along the path, when I step back and reflect, I am aware I am always drawn to you.  Each step reminds me of the constancy of your presence, your living spirit, and the countless ways you reveal yourself to us.

As the path continues to surprise and amaze, I give thanks to you for faith, for beauty, and for love.

Wondrous God,
so full
of surprises
for your children,
thank you
for the gifts
along the path
of life.
Teach us
to look,
to anticipate,
to participate,
and to celebrate,
always giving thanks.
