Dear God,

The wonders of your creation!  As Stella and I crawled onto the rocks and knelt to look into tide pools, we gazed upon your creative powers.  We marveled at the extraordinary creatures that flourish in the ocean waters.  Making our way down to the water, standing in knee high, we watched as a variety of sea creatures swam, crawled, and rested on the ocean floor.  With creatures skittering from one hiding place to another, our guide shared incredible information. 

There is no place on earth that does not bear your mark, O Lord.  Each and every one, everything points to you.  Varying colors, textures, and abilities speak of your created order.  Who can deny your fingerprint?

Almighty God,
thank you
for the wonders
of your creation.
Thank you
for beautiful signs
and symbols
of your
living presence.
Thank you
for continually
pointing us
to you.
