Dear God,
Hope. There is nothing like it. Hope is perhaps the best gift you have ever given us. Hope, to dare believe in possibility.
"It will happen," my 10-year-old granddaughter said. "It will happen." Speaking about a sad condition in our family, she is believing change will occur, transformation will unfold, and reunion will take place. Intuitively she believes hope buoys faith filling the soul with peace and joy.
So often we lose hope, Lord. We forget you are god of the hopeless. We forget hope is a deep dimension of faith. We forget hope is a way of life instilling in the pilgrim a peace that no one can take away. When we hope, our countenance is altered. We lift our heads and our hearts. We look straight ahead releasing the past to itself. We live in attainableness believing in the probability that revision, modification, and reconstruction will come. Hope, the life of faith.
Gracious God,
you teach us
life is
never stagnant.
You show us
the evolution
of hope,
faith, and peace.
We thank you.
Love, Andrea
