Dear God,

Why would we ever want to forget your church?  Why would we ever fail to gather with your community of faith?  Why would we not worship you in your house?

Today was a glorious time as faith lived and grew and thrived in the company of your beloved.  As we sang your song, prayed your prayer, listened to your word, extended the hand of peace to one another, and danced with your Holy Spirit, we knew who was inspiring us, blessing us, and challenging us.  We laughed a holy laughter, smiled a holy smile, and lifted up holy prayers because we wanted to give thanks to the God of our faith.

As we left the service, we could see your handprint on our lives.

Blessed God,
your gifts
are many.
You bind us together
with your people.
You direct us
to go out
and bless others.
Thank you,

thank you.
