Dear God,

You bring us special sweetness in life.  Even though we are not looking for it, it comes to us in unexpected ways.  Today was such a day.

This morning I left for a long drive to a major city.  As I went along I drove across a bridge and saw a pretty body of water but what I really saw was the river of life.  Later when I saw beautiful ducks gliding across smooth waters, I witnessed the truth of how much easier it is to glide through life when we trust you to calm the stormy seas that rise up.  When I saw cars merging onto the highway and other vehicles move to a farther lane, I realized how you make way for us.  All during the drive you helped me see through spirit eyes.

Open our eyes
to you,
O Lord;
help us
see what
you see.

for the
visit today
to the divine.
Thank you
for faith
that opens doors
to you.
