Dear God,

I watch as the birds skitter about.  They are looking for food and finding it among the Autumn offerings.

The birds are the teacher this morning.  They are hungry and know where to look for nourishment.  They give witness to faith as they show how we too can find food.  We too know where to go when our spirit is hungry.  You direct us to spiritual food and water.  You want to feed us the right kind of food that will care for the whole of our being.  Like to the birds you are merciful to us.

How grateful
we are
for your
living presence
who nourishes us
at all times.
We are blessed
by your
tender, loving care.
May we also
point the way
to those
among us
who are hungry.

Love, Andrea
