Dear God,

Whenever I stumble in the darkness, I search for a sign of you.  This early morning as I walked down the hallway before dawn I heard the sound of bells, chimes, a gentle breeze of your spirit blowing reaching out to me.  I stood by the door and drank in the sound.  When loss is wide and pain is deep, you call out to us.

Loving God,
thank you
for the gift
of the sound
of your spirit
this morning.
Thank you
for speaking
to my
weary heart.
Bless you,
O God,
for your
unending compassion.

Love, Andrea
