Dear God,
The birds are singing outside my study window. Although I can't quite make them out yet because the night is still turning to day, I can hear their sweet songs.
What are the birds singing, O Lord? Are they singing your praise? Are they giving thanks? Are they singing their songs to all the other birds who have joined them in song? For me they are witnesses to your incredible plan for creation. They sing because they can. They sing because theirs is a song of joy this morning. How wonderful to listen and hear!
Bless you,
Holy Father,
for your song.
Whether sung
by the birds
or humans,
it is
a beautiful song
of faith
and trust
and love
and peace
and hope.
Now I
can see them
sitting in
the branches
of the
Serviceberry tree.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
Love always, Andrea
