Dear God,

How do I become a living fountain of faith?  This morning I sat with my circle of friends and listened to the gospel writer speak of being a living fountain of faith.  I want that, O Lord.  I want to become a living fountain of faith.

Do I trust you enough to help rid me of all obstacles that stand in the way of becoming a living fountain of faith?  Do I have enough faith to even move from where I am?  I look at my life and think about the many ways I fail to be a witness to faith.  I fail to live a life of faith where those who look upon my life see you instead of me. 

Help me
become more,
dear Father,
not for me
but for you.
I want
to gush faith
for you.
I want
to turn eyes
toward you.
Forgive my lack
of faith,
I pray.
