Dear God,

Holy are you, Lord Most High.  Each day when we awaken you remind us to count our blessings, to remember your faithfulness and to give thanks.  How can we not?

Even the dark of the early morning calls to me to give praise and to breathe my prayers of thanksgiving.  I can't even rise from my bed without saying thank you.  I consider my surroundings and realize all I have is yours.  I just use it while I am here temporarily.  It will still be yours when I am gone.

Gentle reminders of gratitude keep me on my toes in faith.  They help me increase my awareness of your living presence in daily life.  I remember even I am not my own but yours.

Bless you,
Holy Father,
for the gift
of life,
for faith
and spiritual awareness.
Teach us
to be grateful
and to
bless others
with your goodness.
Thank you,
dear God,
thank you.

Love, Andrea
