Dear God,

Only you can make us do what we do not want to do!  When we are resistant, stubborn and belligerent, only you can find the spot within our heart, mind or soul where it is possible to change us, to open us to your will and to help us give way to our own way.  You have done that to me so many times, so very many times and I bent, bent to your desire for me.

I am grateful for your power, not only your almighty power but your compassionate mercy that have equal power to transform us.  You use every means to remake us when we need it.

Today I heard your voice once again as I sat with my "circle of friends," writers of many devotional books.  I listened and as always you changed my perspective and set me on a path toward wholeness.

How grateful
I am
for your
mighty power
and loving way.
Daily you move
and inspire me.
I am yours.
